Get to know some of the project we have worked on

> AB Inbev> Tiko Global

Situation

  • AB InBev has two main distribution channels to sell its products in the southern cone of America (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia & Chile), directly to the point of sale (vendors) with its own sellers, or through more than 250 distributors who manage a salesforce of 2800 people
  • The distributors´ salesforce use an app to take orders from the point of sales. The app was developed by a third party in the early 2000s…
  • AB InBev hired Greencode to help them with the digital transformation of the distributors distribution channel, by implementing new technologies in the sales app

Approach

  • Greencode worked directly with the client to help them understand what they needed to improve the app functionalities
  • With design thinking techniques we worked side by side to decide what the client needed and with Agile methodology and Scrum techniques, we prioritized the epics to develop a multi-year backlog with a team of 14 devs
  • We proposed a specific team for this engagement: Android devs, Dot Nets, Reacts, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Delivery Managers, QA automation, DevOps and Python developers
  • Sprint by sprint, our team developed MVPs of the epics we prioritized and we launched them in pilot programs prior to the production stage
  • Every development was carefully tested by our team of manual and automated QAs and reviewed by our Tech Leads

Impact & Advantage

  • AB InBev distributors now have a completely new app which is integrated via web services to the ERPs and has:
  1. Omni channel order management system with promotions and  negotiations
  2. Stock in real time
  3. Daily and monthly sales planning
  4. Daily and monthly sales performance per seller in real time
  5. Management control KPI Dashboard in PowerBI
  6. Vendor price and volume surveys
  7. Vendor management site

As many companies, Tiko has several legacy systems that are not integrated and some of its processes are still manually operated. Tiko called Greencode to develop an integrated logistics marketplace, Uber-like, specialized in B2B, for local and international food retailers of any size

Approach

  • Greencode worked directly with the client to help them understand what they needed to improve the app functionalities
  • With design thinking techniques we worked side by side to decide what the client needed and with Agile methodology and Scrum techniques, we prioritized the epics to develop a multi-year backlog with a team of 15 devs
  • We proposed a specific team for this engagement:  Reacts web & Mobile, Ruby on Rails, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA automation & DevOps
  • Every development was carefully tested by our team of manual and automated QAs and reviewed by our Tech Leads
